Triple H is one of WWE’s greatest ever performers.
His in-ring work along with his mic skills has made him invaluable to Vince McMahon for the past 25 years.
At the age of 50, Triple H is no longer a full-time wrestler, but always seems to have a feud heading into WrestleMania.
This year’s event, which takes place across two nights on April 4 and 5 and Triple H finds himself without an opponent.
The Game looks set to miss his first WrestleMania since 2007 when a torn quad sidelined him.
Despite his immeasurable success in WWE, Triple H has the most losses in WrestleMania history with 13.
Below, talkSPORT.com looks at the wrestlers he put over and why.
Triple H vs The Ultimate Warrior, WrestleMania 12
Triple H’s first WreslteMania came way back in 1996, just one year after signing with WWE.
Known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley at the time, he had a WrestleMania debut to forget.
He was defeated by the returning Ultimate Warrior in just one minute and 39 seconds, despite The Game hitting a pedigree early on.
Triple H’s walk to the ring actually took longer than the match!
Triple H vs Kane, WrestleMania 15
Triple H bounced back from his squash match to Ultimate Warrior with two successive WrestleMania wins over Goldust and Owen Hart.
But his next loss on The Grandest Stage of Them All occurred via disqualification against Kane.
The match was largely remembered for Chyna turning on Kane by hitting him with a chair
The outcome saw Chyna side with Triple H, which created a new storyline further down the line.
Triple H vs The Undertaker, WrestleMania 17
After main-eventing his first WrestleMania in 2000, successfully defending his world title against The Rock, Mick Foley and Big Show, Triple H was now one of WWE’s biggest stars.
And a year later, he was involved in another high-profile match at the Show of Shows, this time against The Undertaker.
It was the first of Triple H’s three WrestleMania defeats to The Deadman.
A loss for Triple H was crucial to keep The Undertaker’s famous undefeated WrestleMania streak going.
Triple H vs Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels, WrestleMania 20
Chris Benoit was a third wheel to start with ahead of his WrestleMania match due to Triple H (c) and Shawn Michaels competing for the Heavyweight Championship in previous months.
Benoit booked his ticket to the main event by winning the Royal Rumble match after lasting more than an hour as entrant no.1.
The Rabid Wolverine saw off Michaels and tapped out Triple H, which saw a WrestleMania main event end via submission for the first time ever.

Triple H vs Batista, WrestleMania 21
Storyline-wise, this feud was fantastic.
Batista left the dominant Evolution stable, turning face in the process, to challenge Triple H for the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
The Animal won the Royal Rumble, and after initially looking like he was going to take on JBL for the WWE Championship, he wised up to Triple H’s mind games and went after his former friend.
After helping Triple H capture the vacant title at the New Year’s Resolution pay-per-view in January at the expense of former Evolution member Randy Orton, it was fitting that Batista beat The Game at WrestleMania.
The victory cemented Batista as one of WWE’s main event players.
Triple H vs John Cena, WrestleMania 22
In front of a fired-up Chicago crowd, Triple H and John Cena made it a main event to remember in 2006.
After holding the WWE Championship for most of the year, Cena faced a challenge defending his gold against Triple H.
Cena beating the Game only reminded everyone who the ‘top guy’ of the company was.
Triple H vs Randy Orton vs John Cena, WrestleMania 24
Triple H had time to make up for after missing WrestleMania 23 through injury – and boy did he do it at WrestleMania 24.
All three men participated in a WrestleMania classic as Orton successfully defended his title when he punted Triple H in the head to pin an already hurt Cena.
Once again, Triple H was seen putting over another massive star in WWE.
Triple H vs The Undertaker, WrestleMania 27
The friendship between Triple H and Shawn Michaels played into the match, with the latter believing his friend could not beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
Triple H had failed to beat him 10 years ago and Michaels fared no better at WrestleMania the year before, which cost the Heartbreak Kid his career.
The No Holds Barred match between Triple H and The Undertaker lasted just under 30 minutes, with The Deadman triumphing yet again.
The Undertaker kicked out of THREE pedigrees to further highlight how unbeatable he was at WrestleMania.

Triple H vs The Undertaker, WrestleMania 28
After a 10-month hiatus from WWE, The Undertaker returned to challenge Triple H to a WrestleMania rematch.
After initially rejecting the proposal, The Game confirmed their third bout at WrestleMania.
It was a Hell in a Cell match with Triple H’s best friend Shawn Michaels featuring as the special guest referee.
The Undertaker was victorious, taking his WrestleMania undefeated streak to 20-0.
But the match will be fondly remembered for the three men embracing each other at the top of the ramp as they made their way backstage.
Triple H vs Daniel Bryan, WrestleMania 30
Triple H had arguably one of his best WrestleMania matches ever when he faced Daniel Bryan.
For months, the WWE chief had been trying to keep Bryan out of the main event picture, calling him a ‘B-plus player’.
A heel Triple H, in an authority role, stacked the deck against Bryan at WrestleMania 30.
Bryan would have to beat The Game in the opening match at WrestleMania in order to compete against Randy Orton and Batista in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With the entire WWE Universe behind Bryan, he beat Triple H and went on to win the world title in the main event.
If Triple H had beaten Bryan, there could have been a riot at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome…
Triple H vs Roman Reigns, WrestleMania 32
Simiarly to Bryan, Roman Reigns had to fight his way to the top through adversity, on-screen anyway, as behind closed doors he was being set up as the next face of the company.
Vince McMahon forced Reigns to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the 30-man Royal Rumble match.
Triple H was a surprise No.30 entrant as he eliminated Reigns, before throwing Dean Ambrose over the ropes to win his 14th world title.
The Big Dog got his revenge in the WrestleMania 32 main event when he beat Triple H to win back his title.
Triple H vs Seth Rollins, WrestleMania 33
Rollins turned on his Shield brothers Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to join Triple H and The Authority in 2014.
He won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31, before having to vacate it due to injury in November 2015.
Rollins made his return the following year and competed in a fatal four-way match against Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Roman Reigns for the vacant Universal Championship.
When it looked like Triple H was going to help Rollins win the title, he shocked the WWE Universe by hitting him with a pedigree, allowing Owens to pick up the pinfall victory.
The rivalry between the pair ensued for months and while trying to confront Triple H on Raw in January 2017, Rollins re-injured his knee after an attack by Samoa Joe.
Despite being the underdog, it did not stop Rollins from beating Triple H at WrestleMania 33, while earning the nickname ‘King Slayer’.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey, WrestleMania 34
This is probably one of Triple H’s most underrated matches at WrestleMania.
Ahead of Ronda Rousey’s highly-anticipated in-ring debut, there were question marks over how the former UFC star would get on.
But she excelled thanks to Triple H’s selling.
Rousey got physical with Triple H and looked like an absolute beast in the ring.
And when Rousey tapped out McMahon, she got the pop from the crowd that she deserved.
