Bray Wyatt has challenged John Cena to a ‘Bar Fight Deathmatch’ in a Hooters restaurant if WrestleMania 36 is delayed due to the coronaviruis pandemic.
The deadly disease could postpone the Show of Shows, which is due to take place in Tampa, Florida on April 5.
There have been reports that Tampa authorities ‘will probably pull the plug’ on WrestleMania 36 next week if WWE fail to make a decision.
The news appears to have reached Wyatt, whose ‘Fiend’ persona is set to take on Cena in a huge WrestleMania showdown next month.
He tweeted: “If WrestleMania gets delayed The FIEND hereby challenges @JohnCena to a Bar Fight Deathmatch. This will take place at @Hooters. Not kidding.”
Wyatt sent the challenge out on Saturday evening and Cena is yet to reply.
Cena beat Wyatt at WrestleMania 32, which the latter claims helped birth ‘The Fiend’, who has beaten Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan since debuting last year.
Coronavirus COVID-19 has infected 162,000 people worldwide, with the death toll at more than 6,000.
WWE fans from all over the world make the trip to the US for the annual WrestleMania pay-per-view, which will be held at the 65,000-capacity Raymond James Stadium.
It could increase the risk of more coronavirus cases with US President Donald Trump introducing a travel ban from certain countries, including the UK and Ireland.
