Fresh off an AEW pay-per-view at the weekend, we’re now only 10 days away from WWE’s Survivor Series.
Let’s dig into all the latest news:
John Cena will return for WrestleMania 36
In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cena said: “I’m so grateful to be doing some amazing things right now, but I still miss WWE and still ask myself, ‘Who am I?’ when I am not active with WWE. My identity was so closely tied to WWE for so long.”
“I never make the matches, I’m just grateful to be able to perform in WWE. Every day away from it, I miss it more and more and more. I’m becoming more honest with myself about how much I miss it. I’m very eager to get back into a WWE ring soon.”
“And on the subject of WrestleMania, I can tell you this—I haven’t missed a WrestleMania since my first appearance at WrestleMania 19, and I do not plan to miss a WrestleMania for decades to come.”
Rusev comments on Bobby Lashley/Lana affair angle
Speaking to TheSun.ie, Rusev said: “It’s a collaboration. There’s adjustments that we make, but that’s just life.”
“We’re committed to our characters on TV, so we just have to make slight adjustments, but we’re professionals and we’re coping with it.”
“It’s great, I think we are in the best storyline currently going on and the best storyline that’s been around for years.”
“It’s getting a lot of views and a lot of eyes on it. Some people like it, some people love it, but at the end of the day, it’s the hottest storyline going on.”
Sin Cara requests release from WWE
