Becky Lynch to feud with Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship

Lynch has a highly-anticipated triple threat match against NXT Women’s champion Shayna Baszler and SmackDown Women’s champion Bayley at Survivor Series to prepare for.

However, beyond Survivor Series, the Wrestling Observer claim the plan is to have Lynch defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Asuka.

Asuka and Kairi Sane currently hold the Women’s Tag Team titles

Asuka has Lynch’s number after beating The Man to retain her SmackDown Women’s title at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, so that could play in nicely to any potential storyline.

Heel Asuka vs face Lynch would be an exciting matchup.

Alexa Bliss to return from ‘minor injury’ soon

Bliss has not wrestled since she and Nikki Cross lost the Women’s Tag Team titles to Kairi Sane and Asuka at Hell in a Cell last month.

Even while Cross has been going after Bayley for the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship, Bliss has not been by her side.

On Wednesday, WWE announced The Goddess is ‘expected to return to action soon’ from a minor undisclosed injury.

John Cena would give his ‘life’ to WWE

Cena has not been seen on WWE TV since January.

The former WWE Champion is prioritising his acting career in Hollywood over WWE, much like The Rock and Batista.

And a WWE return for Cena does not seem to be any closer, if his recent comments are anything to go by.

He told Sports Illustrated: “I literally give my life, willingly, to WWE. But you shouldn’t be the same person you were yesterday.

“You should always evolve and grow and change. I want to make sure I still love what I do.

“I never want to get to the point where I steal your money just to get your money.”

AJ Styles teases Bullet Club reunion with Finn Balor

Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows responded to NXT’s invasion on Raw by returning the favour on NXT.

The trio attacked The Undisputed Era backstage, before facing Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee in a six-man tag team match in the main event.

Balor, who returned to NXT and turned heel last month, came down to the ring and hit Riddle with a vicious 1916 DDT.

Styles threw up a Too Sweet sign towards Balor, who replied with finger guns, in a reference to their Bullet Club days in Japan.

It begged the question – could there be a reunion with Balor, Styles, Anderson and Gallows further down the line?
